Volunteering
FOLKLIFE 2007

For those of you who have volunteered at Folklife:

1)  Is it a difficult committment?
2)  Do you still get to see the acts, while volunteering?
3)  Other than supporting the best festival in the world, are there any perks?
4)  Is it too late to volunteer the day of?

Thanks, see you there!

what did you really like at this year's Folklife?
What did you see that was really cool? what did you really enjoy? what do you regreat missing? did you get anything cool?

I ate a ton of junk food and ethnic foods, and got a lot of cheap end-of-the-day food deals.
The Arab Show was really good, and there was a band ther called Crookshanks which was nice. I love the ethnic instrument folks and saw some major talent. I love to see the dancing kissies and uninhibited folks. We also got a bunch of peacock feathers for 50 cents each to decorate the house with.
I only wish I had bought cds from folks. They went fast, and I never made it to the Alki Room to get some. I guess I'll just have to keep up on those bands performances around the area!
But most of all, I like to people watch and the big crowds. :)
